H.A.T.S. (High Achieving Talented Students) is specially designed for younger students (1st-6th graders) who are academically directed. We provide year-round academic enrichment support for gifted, high-achieving and academically accelerated students. Students K-12th who have achieved scores at or above the 95% on a nationally normed standardized test, who participate in a gifted program, or who are recommended by an educator are invited to participate in our H.A.T.S. programming.
COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Each Broward County Public School must develop and implement a comprehensive plan to meet the needs of their gifted students as outlined in the Broward County Public Schools Procedural Guide for Gifted Education.
Services are provided in the core content areas, depending on students’ needs. Gifted services, however, are not limited to the curriculum and learning environment. Other services must be provided based on the individual needs of the student.
BCPS also hosts an annual Gifted & Talented Symposium which is one of the largest gatherings of gifted educators and families in the State of Florida.
